Transformational Speaker, lifelong systems and personal growth developer, professional singer and actress, intuitive artist, writer, and long-time communication specialist, Lori came through mental illness and life-impacting depression to emerge a powerful and enthusiastic presence for emotional health, personal freedom and expansion through authenticity, spirituality, empowerment, and creativity.
Lori has been publicly speaking since 2009, for, among others, the San Francisco Concierge Association, Skyline College and Experience Unlimited and she has been a performance coach for 10 years. Her audiences and students find her exciting, approachable, expressive and educationally direct.
In 2009, Lori self-published the book Mother Love: Embracing the Wound, Tempering the Steel, about the intersection of mental health and spirituality. It is currently out of print as some changes are being made, and will be re-released. She is also the author and designer of The Self-Empowerment Journal for Wild Women, a self-expression journal for quietly creative moments of spiritual travel.
Lori's acting experience began at age 2 and has never stopped. In 2010 she studied with Kevin Kline's acting coach of 40+ years - Harold Guskin - in New York. In the 1990's she took one year of Graduate study at the University of Cincinnati's acclaimed College Conservatory of Music, and interned immediately after at one of Cincinnati Ohio's two premiere professional theatres: The Ensemble Theatre of Cincinnati. Lori appeared on NBC's Trauma in 2011, and continues to expand her forays into television and film.
A native of the musician-rich city of Cincinnati, Ohio, Lori is the child of two internationally recognized musicians of the last century - Jack Kirstein of the LaSalle Quartet and Jeanne Kirstein, chosen recording artist of noted Avant Garde composer John Cage.
Now a San Francisco Bay Area resident, Lori is passionate about freeing individuals and groups to empowerment through the creative gateways of self-expression, sound, and awareness.
